My dvd (rw) showing blank of my desk top?

when i m putting dvd or cd in my dvd (rw) drive it shows blank and the same dvd or cd when i play in musice system it plays well what is the soloution for this . even my dvd drvies tray is ejecting without any intruption.ihav also used dvd lence cleaner but i faild
