Can a landlord ban tennants from having firearms in an apartment in Michgan?

I live in Michigan and my future landlord has a rule banning firearms and weapons on the property. Is this legal? I've read articles but I can't find the law on the Michigan government website. If this is legal please send me a link to your sources.
