How to get a stuck dvd to eject?

I have a Sony BRAVIA TV with an in built blu-ray player. I put in a DVD to watch but it is not ejecting now. when i press eject it makes a sound for couple of seconds and then starts playing the DVD again! what should i do! I've only had this TV for a couple of months and the DVD inside is borrowed from the library! HELP!
