Do I have to load all my wii games on gecko when normally I get a error message 002?

I have recently got homebrew channel on my wii so I could have a little bit of fun on black ops in private match. Doing some hacks but when I try to load the game like I used to, to just play normally on line it will give me a error message saying to press eject and shut off my wii. On gecko, what I use to put hacks on, boots the game right up and I play. So do I have to just load the games that way then
