Can I eject my iPod nano on iTunes while 2 movies i just bought are still downloading?

Each over is gonna take 5 or 6 hours to download. Will it still download if I unplug my ipod? Also, after its finished I am gonna plug my ipod back in to drag the movies in my ipod. (just a side note) thanks!
