USB flash drive help?

I have 2 cruzer micro flashdrives. one is a 2gb and one is a 4gb. Both work with my desktop, but only the 2gb works with my laptop. It won't let me troubleshoot anything. When I plug in the 4 gb it only shows in my control panel. not my computer, or to safely eject at the bottom and it wont let me right click and send it anything. Suggestions?
