Car HU turns on then shuts off?

i have a 92 honda accord i recently tried to install a head unit an when i turn the key in so it will power up it just shows the shut off screen then turns off an i have to turn the car off pull the key out for about 10 seconds then it will turn back on an do the same thing ive learned i can press the display button an it always gives the time 1:00 an i can also push a cd in an it will turn on an Take the cd then it shuts off i can press the eject button an it does the same but just ejects the cd i have no idea what im doing wrong i don't know alot about this stuff but i have all the open wires taped off so they dont touch an the 2 12V wires are connected an so it the ground can anyone help me please
